on tuesday, july 7th, i turned 28 years old.
it was a fun-filled few days in the lead up to the big event, including a visit from the fabulous ms. kristan camp and anh nguyen. in a quick list, here are some highlights of the weekend:

● rollerskating (yes again)
● breakfasting with strong coffee and turkey bacon
● monsoon rains
● lakeside fourth of july festivities

and, well, i couldn't be happier. i am 28. i have stretch marks and spider veins but i've never had a baby. i have sun spots on my face. i have a healthy body, family, friends, and a wonderful partner in life. and did i mention that i have rollerskating in my life again? well. just saying.
